The Community Forest (SCCF) has one volunteer vacancy to fill on the five-member SCCF Legacy Fund Assessment Committee. The SCCF Legacy Fund is based on revenue generated by the Community Forest which is surplus to operating needs. As a member of the Committee you will evaluate applications for Legacy Funds submitted by community groups, public sector agencies and non-profit organizations based on established criteria. Committee recommendations are then forwarded to the District of Sechelt Council for consideration of approval. The Committee is expected to meet up to four times per year.
